1) I can't join Meet video calls on my dual-SIM Phone

Ans: We suggest you turn off the second SIM or switch to Wi-Fi. 


2) I can't open Meet on my mobile device

Ans: Each version of the mobile Meet app is supported for 6 months after release. Update to the latest version if an older version of the app is installed on your device.


3) Join a video meeting in Classroom (Computer)

Ans: If your teacher turns on Meet for Classroom, you can join a video meeting for your class. You can join a class video meeting after the teacher starts the meeting.

To use Meet, sign in to Classroom with a school account. Your account looks like you@yourschool.edu.
  1. Go to classroom.google.com.
  2. Click the class.
  3. On the Classwork page, at the top (for computer users) / at bottom (for mobile users), click Meeting link at left hand side panel (for computer users) / scroll & find for meeting link to view the Class video meet link (for mobile users)"".
    Click Meet link
    • On an announcement or post, click the link for the class video meeting.
  4. (Optional) To allow Meet to use your camera and microphone, click Allow.
  5. In Meet, at the top, make sure you’re signed in with your school account. To switch accounts, click Switch accountand thenselect the Classroom account.
  6. To join the class video meeting, click Join now.

4) Join a video meeting in Classroom (Android)

If your teacher turns on Meet for Classroom, you can join a video meeting for your class. You can join a class video meeting after the teacher starts the meeting.

To use Meet, you have to sign in to Classroom with a school account. Your account looks like you@yourschool.edu.

  1. Tap Classroom "".
  2. Tap the class.
  3. Choose an option:
    • At the top of the Stream or Classwork page, tap Meet "".
    • On an announcement or post, tap the video meeting link.
  4. (Optional) To allow Meet to use your camera and microphone, tap Allow.
  5. Before you join, at the bottom, make sure you’re signed in with your school account. If you need to switch accounts, tap Switchand thenselect the Classroom account.
  6. To join the class video meeting, tap Join meeting.


5) How to Join with a meeting link or invitation

Ans: 
  1. Choose an option:
    • If your teacher shared a meeting link, click the link or paste it into your browser.
    • If your teacher sent an invitation in an email message, in the message, under Join with Google Meet, click the link. 
  2. In Meet, at the top, make sure you’re signed in with your school account. If you’re already signed in and need to switch accounts, click Switch accountand thenselect the Classroom account.
  3. Click Join now.

6) How to fix any error related with audio/video during google class meeting

Check & update your Android version

You can find your device's Android version number, security update level, and Google Play system level in your Settings app. You'll get notifications when updates are available for you. You can also check for updates.

See which Android version you have

  1. Open your phone's Settings app.
  2. Near the bottom, tap System And then Advanced And then System update.
  3. See your "Android version" and "Security patch level."

Get the latest Android updates available for you

When you get a notification, open it and tap the update action.

If you cleared your notification or your device has been offline:

  1. Open your phone's Settings app.
  2. Near the bottom, tap System and then Advanced and then System update.
  3. You'll see your update status. Follow any steps on the screen.
