Dear Parent,
Kindly be informed that tomorrow 17th July 2023 Monday is a working day for students at BTGS. There is a special celebration on the occasion of Hareli which is especially to help students to know the importance of this day.
BTGS has decided to keep this day as working because of 2 reasons:
1) To let the students know about the reason of why this day is known as Hareli and celebrate the same at school instead of students just sitting at home and not being aware about the reason of festival.
2) There are guidelines by CBSE to follow the number of working days and as BTGS is a residential school as well hence a few occasions which have more value when celebrated rather than students sitting at home on such State Holidays without knowing the importance will be working day for students.
We hope that parents support this decision of BTGS and for the festivals like Hareli and Tribal Day, send their wards to school to learn and know more about these days.
