At the outset, we apologise for the event and would like to Thank you for raising the concern with the school management. This helped us in investigating the issue and identifying the gap in our process, from here on any external media shown in the auditorium or otherwise has to go through an approval process for the concerned section.
In this particular case, the choice of showing the movie was left to the IT executive and was wrongly assumed that he would be showing age-appropriate content. This was a miss due to the busy schedule of the Annual Day practice, however, that cannot be an excuse for such a miss.
We believe in correcting our process rather than simply addressing a particular case which helps us to avoid repeating the mistakes.
Please note that this movie was not shown to the Kindergarten students.
