Dear Parent,
We have chosen Computer Science(CS) as the stream, which is of the highest level of competency out of CS, AI and IP. The CS goes well with the PCM students looking to go for Engineering, covering the Python programming language and developing algorithms. Python Programming is the basis of AI, machine learning and other data mining activities.
We have AI till Grade 10, and the same concepts are covered in Grades 11 & 12, so it is redundant to take it up again.
Informatics practices are a basic subject more oriented towards traditional databases, and BTGS students going to Grade 11 are already competent in the area, so it doesn't make sense to have it.
