Greetings from Brahmavid The Global School!
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding the food services at BTGS. We truly value the involvement of parents in nurturing the holistic development of our students and appreciate your concern for Ekansh and Divyansh’s well-being.
Our consistent aim at Annapurna (BTGS Dining Services) has always been to prioritise the nutritional needs, health, and hygiene of our students while also being mindful of their taste preferences and enjoyment.
Regarding your concern about breakfast portions, items such as Chocos, milk, and buttered bread are intentionally served in moderate but adequate quantities. This approach is based on frequent observations where food items—particularly Chocos—are often treated more as play items than consumed. Milk is sometimes left unfinished or poured away. To discourage waste and encourage mindful eating, we serve controlled portions while ensuring nutritional sufficiency.
As for buttered bread, butter is indeed applied; however, as the bread is served warm, it may melt into the slice and give the impression that it hasn’t been buttered. That said, we acknowledge the concern and will re-evaluate our serving method to ensure it meets both expectations and satisfaction.
On the point of sweets, we completely understand the students’ anticipation and joy associated with them. Currently, in line with CBSE’s advisory on limiting sugar intake among school-going children, sweets are served twice a week in controlled portions. However, we are reviewing the weekly menu and will explore ways to enhance variety and frequency of treats while maintaining nutritional balance.
Special items like panipuri and momos are still part of our occasional menus—typically featured during festivals, celebration days, or house events. We are happy to explore how these can be incorporated more often in a healthy and hygienic manner.
We also take the matter of hygiene and cleanliness extremely seriously. Our kitchens and dining areas are regularly cleaned and supervised under strict FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) protocols. Nevertheless, based on your feedback, we have immediately initiated an internal hygiene audit to reassess all food handling and utensil washing processes. Any gaps identified will be addressed promptly and with utmost priority.
We appreciate your continued faith in BTGS and assure you that your feedback has been taken constructively. Our team remains committed to delivering a safe, satisfying, and nutritionally balanced dining experience for all students.
